Step-by-step guides

How to document each type of meeting with Voicit: online, in person, by phone, or by uploading an audio recording you already have.

Voicit works the same regardless of the type of meeting: you record it, and within a few minutes you receive the audio, transcript and a report Ready to share. Here's how to do it in each case. If you prefer to see it in video, you have everything in Video tutorials.

Online meetings (Meet, Teams and Zoom)

  1. Join your video call from your browser.
  2. Press the red button of the Voicit extension To start recording. It appears automatically on the left when it detects you're on a video call.
  3. Press it again when finished and receive your report on the platform.

Face-to-face meetings and interviews

  1. Open the recording studio from Voicit in the browser, or prepare the Voicit recorder if it is a room with several people.
  2. Press to start recording with the computer microphone or recorder.
  3. When finished, stop the recording (or turn up the audio from the recorder) and receive your transcript and report.

Phone calls

  1. Put your mobile phone on speaker next to the computer, or use the Voicit recorder for better quality.
  2. Record from the recording studio during the call.
  3. Stop the recording when you hang up and receive the transcript and report. If you work with HubSpot, you can record calls directly; it's included in your HubSpot app. Video tutorials.

Do you already have an audio recording?

You don't need to repeat the meeting. On the app's home screen, tap Upload audioDrag and drop your file, and Voicit will generate the report just as if it had been recorded live. It supports most common audio and video formats (MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, etc.).

Recording, transcribing, and documenting: what each one means

With Voicit, you get in a single workflow what you used to do manually:

  • Transcription (convert the audio to text, speech-to-text): the literal text of everything that was said.
  • Minutes or minutes of the meeting: the structured summary with agreements, topics and next steps.
  • AI-powered report: the enriched minutes with metrics, problems, dates and a chronological summary.

What you receive in each report

Each processed meeting includes, in addition to the audio and full transcript:

  • Information and summary of the meeting.
  • Topics coveredeach with its own timestamp.
  • Chronological summary, key metrics, issues detected and dates mentioned.
  • Un AI chat to ask him anything you want about the meeting.
📄 You can adapt the report structure to your way of working from your templates.
