Is it possible to record a job interview over the phone?
Yes. Best practice (and what the GDPR requires) is to inform the person that the call will be recorded and for what purpose. Voicit is a European company, and the processing of data is confidential. Inform the candidate at the beginning of the call, and you will have an objective record of the process.
How do I record a phone call to document the interview?
You have four options: with your phone on speakerphone and the desktop app; with the Chrome extension capturing the computer's internal audio; by selecting the browser tab with the call; or with our Voicit Go recorder, which attaches magnetically to the back of your phone (with MagSafe or with the included magnetic ring) and records the call without needing speakerphone.
How does Voicit differentiate between the candidate and the interviewer?

Do I need to put the phone on speakerphone?
